Jerry Forbes Centre for Community Spirit
Leading and fostering the growth of a community of non profit organizations in the greater Edmonton region.
In early 2016 the Jerry Forbes Centre Foundation approached me to redo their branding and their website. They were worried their current brand had become scattered and was being used haphazardly by team and community members. Knowing the Centre was going to be undertaking some major developments that year, they wanted to make sure their marketing and message was fully developed to support their efforts.
The Foundation also wanted to completely redesign and develop their website from the ground up to update the look and functionality to match a new era for the Centre. Their previous website was built in a time when they were focused on raising money and now they were coming into a time of great action and community involvement.
Social Media Integration
The Centre was ecstatic with the new look and features of their website and touted it with a complete change in the way their community viewed them. They attributed the website to a rise in the level of trust from the non profit community and saw a marked increase in the number of tenant application forms over the old website.
As the Jerry Forbes Centre goes into some of the final phases of development through 2017 and into 2018, this website and branding realignment will help them communicate their message and stay consistent. The powerful new features of their website will allow them to continue fostering the sense of community and connectedness which their namesake Jerry Forbes strived to do in his lifetime.
